Are the batteries on your e-bikes removable?

Absolutely! We understand the importance of convenience and flexibility when it comes to your e-bike. All our e-bikes, including the Model E and others, come with easily removable batteries. Each removable battery is equipped with a keyed lock system, making it secure and easy to take with you wherever you go.

While the Model Y may require a bit more effort with 4 bolts and 3 wires to unplug, the process is manageable for those who wish to remove the battery. We've noticed that many of our riders prefer the hassle-free approach, treating their e-bikes like cars or scooters—simply plug in and charge while the battery is on the bike. However, we want to assure you that all our e-bikes are designed with removable batteries, giving you the option whenever you need it.

One note about the Model S (legacy): To charge the battery when it's off the bike, you will need to purchase an additional charger. This is because the Model S comes standard with an on-board, built-in charger. This unique feature enhances the charging experience for the Model S, providing a convenient solution for riders who prefer charging the battery separately.
