What is the California E-Bike Incentive Program?

The California E-Bike Incentive Project provides up to $2,000 of point-of-sale incentives to support the purchase of new electric bicycles (e-bikes). Funded by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), this initiative aims to promote public health, welfare, and ecological resources by reducing air pollutants while considering effects on the economy. Eligible California residents aged 18 and above, meeting income requirements, can apply for E-Bike Incentive vouchers. Priority is given to applicants within specific income ranges or residing in low-income/disadvantaged communities. One incentive is available per individual.
