The light on my external battery charger is flickering between red and green while charging. What's happening?

When the light on your external charger flickers red/green, it usually points to one of two things:

• The external charger itself might be failing.

• The battery has issues, such as unbalanced or dead cells, which prevent it from charging correctly.
